On October 26, 2017, the General Services Administration (GSA) awarded RB Consulting, Inc. (“RBCI”) a contract for Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The 10 year $5B GWAC will be a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside that provides federal customers access to customized IT solutions from a highly qualified pool of industry partners. VETS 2 will allow for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements, while maximizing opportunities for SDVOSBs. In addition to common IT services regularly purchased by the federal government, VETS 2 will also support projects that require new or emerging IT services. Examples of IT services within scope include: Data Management, Information and Communications Technology, IT Operations and Maintenance, IT Security, Software Development, and Systems Design.

On September 29, 2017, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) awarded RB Consulting, Inc. (“RBCI”) a contract for Veteran Enterprise Contracting for Transformation and Operational Readiness (VECTOR). The 10 year $25B VA-wide IDIQ contract is setup to support program offices and customers in order to accomplish VA’s mission and strategic goals, priorities, and initiatives. Much of the VECTOR work is best performed through the use of expert contractor support, with critical market-based skills that augment the internal activities of VA program offices. RBCI was awarded VECTOR Service Group 1 – Management and Improvement, and Service Group 2 – Analysis.

On December 14, 2016, RBCI received a notice from PRI Registrar, based on our Re-assessment Audit, that we conformed to International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2008 is an international standard related to the integration of a Quality Management System (QMS), and applicable to any organization from all types of business sectors and activities. Our re-certification is valid until September 15, 2018.

On May 20, 2016, RBCI received an announcement that it has been appraised at Level 2 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® for Development (DEV) and Services (SVC). The appraisal was performed by QualityWaves Benchmark LLP. CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 2 indicates the organization is performing at a “managed” level. At this level, projects have ensured that processes are planned and executed in accordance with policy; the projects employ skilled people who have adequate resources to produce controlled outputs; involve relevant stakeholders; are monitored, controlled, and reviewed; and are evaluated for adherence to their process descriptions.
